The JED Foundation
JED is a nonprofit that exists to protect emotional health and prevent suicide for America's teens and young adults. They are partnering with high schools and colleges to strengthen their mental health, substance abuse and suicide prevention programs and systems. They encourage community awareness, understanding and action for young adult mental health.
MBW's first annual fundraiser concert in 2017 was in support of the JED Foundation. MBW also participates in JED's 5k runs, and their Evening of Storytelling events.

West Side Campaign Against Hunger
West Side Campaign Against Hunger alleviates hunger by ensuring that all New Yorkers have access to a choice of healthy food and supportive services. They aim to change our perception of hungry people by working in partnership with them, providing food with dignity, and empowering customers to find solutions.
Between 1993 and 2013, WSCAH was able to increase food distribution by 747%, reduce costs per meal from 80 cents to 55 cents, and improve food quality with fresh fruits and vegetables from the farmers’ markets and organic farms.

Children's Tumor Foundation
The Children's Tumor Foundation (CTF) aims to Drive Research, Expand Knowledge, and Advance Care for the Neurofibromatosis Community. Neurofibromatosis, also known as NF, is a genetic disorder that affects 1 in every 3,000 people. Although there is currently no approved cure for NF, a number of promising NF clinical trials are under way, many of them funded by CTF.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the foremost organization dealing with blood cancers in America. They have invested nearly $1.3 billion in blood cancer research, and have funded 88% of blood cancer treatments approved by the FDA since 2017, including the new innovative CAR T-Cell Immunotherapy.
LLS also fights cancer by providing valuable resources to patients and caregivers, such as financial assistance, treatment information centers and support groups. LLS also advocates for healthcare and cancer patient policy in local and national politics.
LLS will participate in MBW's first ever "Charity Fair" in 2019, and will be a partner with us for years to come!
